Dominic Purcell and Wentworth Miller to reunite for a TV series, “Snatchback”.

“Prison Break” duo, Dominic Purcell and Wentworth Miller are set to star in a new series, “Snatchback”, 19 years after the premiere of highly acclaimed Prison Break. According to Variety, the series “follows a highly skilled privately contracted team of operatives as they recover hostages across the globe from some of the most exotic and equally dangerous locations on the planet.” The TV series, which is written and executively produced by Scott Rosenbaum, is reportedly inspired by the experiences of a real covert officer who is still actively in service. Purcell has taken to his Instagram page to share this news, further confirming the coming collaboration and fans are excited for the new series.

Film adaptation of Tomi Adeyemi’s “Children of Blood and Bone” begins this July.

Years after Tomi Adeyemi’s fiction, “Children of Blood and Water” was first tipped for film adaptation, the Paramount Pictures adaptation is taking another major leap toward TV. Last year, Gina Prince-Bythewood signed a contract to direct the project and now, the casting is set to officially commence this July. Paramount acquired the rights to adapt the novel in 2022 after Fox2000 and Disney’s Lucasfilm were hampered. Gina Prince-Bythewood is well known for some of her incredible action thriller movies like “Old Guard” and “The Woman King”. No doubt, the adaptation will commence filming sooner than expected.

Following the success of his 2023 album, “Unruly”, YBNL boss and acclaimed rapper, Olamide is set to surprise his fans with a new project, “Ikigai Vol. 1”. On Wednesday morning, the rapper took to his X account to post a pre-save link and the track list for the upcoming project. “Ikigia”, a Japanese term which means a reason to live, offers a new perspective on Olamide’s trajectory. To some, it could be a note in his personal journey or perhaps, the rapper seeing music as a major stimulating force. The project is scheduled for release on June 26 and will contain seven songs with features from Fireboy, Asake, Pheelz, Young Jonn, Lil Kesh and Sabri.

Six years after assuring his girlfriend, Chioma in his hit song, “Assurance”, Davido has finally tied the knot with Chioma Rowland. In a video, the award-winning singer said that marrying her was the best decision of his life. The wedding which took place in Lagos on Tuesday, saw attendance from many dignitaries and celebrities including the Ooni of Ife, Governor Jide Sanwo Olu, Don Jazzy, Fireboy, Olamide and many others.
