Ivan Toney suspended from all footballing activities.
Brentford and England striker, Ivan Toney, who has taken the league by storm since the team’s promotion into the Premier League, was recently linked to a number of gambling breeches. Whilst being investigated, the striker continued to help his team secure a top spot in the Premier League table, scoring 20 goals. He has however been found guilty by the FA and suspended from all football and football-related activities effective immediately. He admitted to breaching 232 rules against betting on the game. The striker will not involve in any footballing until January 2024.

Francis Ngannou signs with Professional Fighters League.
Cameroon born and former UFC heavyweight champion has just signed with the Professional Fighters League. The 36 year old became a free agent since leaving the UFC in January, after both parties failed to reach an agreement whilst negotiating a new contract. This is major news, as Francis has been regarded as one of the best heavyweight fighters. He is now set to partake in the PFL’s new pay per view Super Fight Division.

Liverpool weighing chances of resigning Sadio Mane.
Sadio Mane’s spell at Bayern Munich has not been the best and the world class forward will be looking to make a move to another club this summer. Rumors circulating have pointed to him signing with top clubs like Manchester United and a reunion with Liverpool. The winger who lit up the Premier League was signed to Liverpool, where he won the league title and champions league, as a pivotal player for the Liverpool resurgent team. While it is unsure whether he will move back to the premier league this summer, top clubs are continuing to monitor his situation with Bayern.

Nigerian wonder kid and football freestyler, Chinonso Eche, became known to the world for breaking the free-styling world record. In 2021, he shattered three more world records for the most consecutive football touches in a minute, whilst balancing another ball on his head. Flying Eagles leave Buenos Aires for FIFA Under-20 World Cup.
Nigeria’s Flying Eagles will be looking to cement their place in Nigeria’s sporting history by bringing home the FIFA under-20 World Cup title. After a 10 day training camp in Buenos Aires, the team have finally arrived in Mendoza, the venue for their first two group stage matches. In the Group D of the tournament, the Flying Eagles will face Dominican Republic, Italy and Brazil, for a chance to proceed in the tournament. The under-20 coach, Bosso has thus indicated that the team are ready to battle it out against their opponents.
