Complementing its Nigerian operations, the company has also set up an American subsidiary, Boyfriend Music LLC, to support artists, songwriters, and producers on a global scale. Boyfriend Music Ltd aims to ensure that creatives receive their due royalties and provides A&R services to help them reach their full potential. CKay emphasized the company’s commitment to fostering a transparent and supportive environment where artists can focus on their craft without worrying about management and publishing complexities. TG Omori reveals he is battling kidney failure, undergoes a failed transplant.
Nigerian music video director ThankGod Omori, widely known as TG Omori or Boy Director, is facing a severe health crisis after consuming fake drinks at nightclubs last December, which resulted in kidney failure and a recent transplant. On Tuesday, Omori shared on X that he had undergone a kidney transplant the previous day, thanks to his brother’s donation. However, he later revealed that the procedure, performed at St. Nicholas Hospital in Lagos, was unsuccessful. Omori, who had to undergo the operation three times, expressed his strong will to survive, stating, “I don’t want to die.” He has asked for prayers during this challenging time, and has received an outpouring of support from both celebrities and fans.

Travis Scott’s “Goosebumps” receives a RIAA Diamond certification after
American rappers, Travis Scott and Kendrick Lamar have reached a significant milestone with their collaborative track “Goosebumps” from Scott’s 2016 album Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight. The song, a standout hit from the album that peaked at No. 32 on the Billboard Hot 100, has now achieved Diamond certification from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). This marks Scott’s second Diamond certification, following his 2020 achievement with “Sicko Mode,” which also received additional certifications on Wednesday, elevating it to 14 times platinum. For Kendrick Lamar, this is his first-ever Diamond plaque.
