Universal Music Group to remove their artistes’ songs on TikTok.
World biggest music label, Universal Music Group has just announced that it would be taking its artists songs off TikTok on Wednesday, after their contract expires. Reports note that both parties failed to reach an agreement for a contract renewal on fair compensation and AI protection. So songs of Drake, Taylor Swift, The Weeknd, Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Adele and Ariana Grande will no longer be available on the platform. Reacting to this, fans have shown their concerns regarding this new update.
UMG, the world’s biggest music company, says they will remove their artists’ music from TikTok this Wednesday when their contract expires after failing to reach a new agreement with the platform.

2024 Hip Hop Freshman Class of the year list allegedly leaks.
The popular Hip Hop Freshman class is upon us, where some of the biggest prospects in hip hop are being rated. The list for this year’s freshman class has allegedly been leaked and includes names like Tyla, Lil Mabu, Veeze, Rich Amiri, Hunxho, Skilla Baby, OsamaSon and Lay Bankz. However, rap fans have hugely expressed their disappointment at Tyla’s inclusion, on the basis of her not being a hip hop artist.

A year after the release of his fourth studio album, “Love Sick”, American rapper and songwriter, Don Toliver has just shared a new teaser for his upcoming release. His 2023 album was not well received by fans and the Cactus Jack Record signee might be looking to release a new album later this year. After numerous postponements, it looks like Kanye West’s joint album with TY Dolla $ign , “Vultures” is set for release. The project is set to have three volumes, with the first set for release on February 9. The track list for the volume 1 has just been revealed and it will feature artists like Charlie Wilson, Freddie Gibbs, Quavo, Playboi Carti, Chris Brown and YG. The 18-tracked project will include popular songs like “Back to me” and “Everybody”.
