Harry Kane moved to Bayern Munich for an all time record fee after a 19-year stint at Tottenham Hotspur. Despite not winning trophies, the England Captain did conquer the premier league, winning the golden boot twice and becoming the second highest goal scorer in the league’s history. Since his move to the Bundesliga giant, Kane has been on fire, showing his ability to score goals and generate results for the team. With a hat trick and two assists against VFL Bochum, he has now scored eight goals and four assists in his last six matches for the club. Evidently, the England captain needs no time to adapt.

Usher announced as headliner for the 2024 Super Bowl Halftime Show.
The National Football League (NFL) in collaboration with Apple Music and Roc Nation have announced that eight-time Grammy award winning artiste, Usher will be the headliner for the Super Bowl Halftime show which is set for February 2024 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Usher, who had performed at the Super Bowl in 2011 as a featured artiste, stated on his social media page that he was honored to finally tick off the Super Bowl performance off his bucket list.

U.S Government warns citizens against travel to some states in Nigeria.
The prevalence of crimes and violence in Nigeria continues to hit an all time high, plunging the country into social and economic unrest. In spite of the government’s efforts at curbing these problems, it has only grown more alarming. Now, the United States’ government has warned its citizens against traveling to certain states in Nigeria, including Delta and Rivers states, due to the prevalent crimes and violence that have ravaged these areas. This will certainly raise a cloud over the social and economic outlooks of the country.
