Drake’s “One Dance” now certified 11x platinum in the United States.
Wizkid’s link up with Drake has indeed produced one of the biggest records of all time. Without a doubt, this collaboration, which also features Kyla, has been one of the biggest records for all the artistes involved, whether via streams or charting numbers. Since the release in 2016, it has accrued a lot of international awards, over a billion streams on Spotify and has charted number one on billboard hot 100. “One Dance” has now been certified 11 times RIAA Platinum for the sale of eleven million units in the United States.

FIFA bans former Spain football federation president for three years.
Spain women’s World Cup win in August was overshadowed by the sexual assault incident that the country’s federation president, Luis Rubiales indulged in, forcefully kissing Jenni Hermoso during the cup ceremony. After being provisionally suspended for 90 days, Rubiales resigned from his role after being under immense pressure from the national team players. FIFA has now banned Luis Rubiales from all footballing activities for three years. The footballing body however did not publish details of the verdict reached by the disciplinary committee.

English singer and producer, PinkPantheress is set to release her debut album, after the initial success of her single, “Boy’s a liar” which features Ice Spice. The much anticipated project titled “Heaven Knows” is set to be released on November 10. “Adetide”, new Yoruba movie featuring Antar Laniyan and Fausat Balogun.
The African traditional beliefs are heavily founded on patriarchal ideals that sets a male child in a different direction from a female child. As a result, men are open to a plethora of life and career opportunities whilst women are restricted from dreaming big due to the social construct. “Adetide” projects this gender issue, where a father decides to go the extra mile in valuing the education of his male child, leaving his female child to strive through difficult circumstances to achieve her dream of being a medical doctor. This movie stars Antar Laniyan, Fausat Balogun and Simbiat Onayia.
