Nigeria’s Presidential election might hit a new turn, with the case presently at the election tribunal. Both Labour Party (LP) and The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) had filed petitions against INEC for its lackadaisical role in the 2023 Presidential election, as well as APC’s winning candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, for failure to meet the requirements as recommended by the constitution. Some Nigerian albums expected to be released this month.

This month of August is looking to be a fun-filled one with a bunch of albums set to be released. Burna Boy has announced that his new album, I Told Them, his seventh studio album will be released on August 26th. YBNL boss, Olamide has also scheduled the release of his eleventh studio album, Unruly for August 10. Whilst BNXN is yet to disclose the release day of his debut studio album, ODUMODUBLVCK’s mixtape, Eziokwu will also be released on August 31st.

Al Nassr has enacted some of the biggest transfers in the Saudi Arabia pro league, as they aim to dominate the league. After signing Cristiano Ronaldo in January, the team invested more, signing Inter Milan’s midfielder, Marcelo Brozović and Manchester United’s full back, Alex Telles. Senegal’s star player and runner up in the 2022 Balon d’Or ranking, Sadio Manè has just been confirmed as a new Al Nassr player. The forward, who left Liverpool for a new adventure, fell out of favour at Bayern Munich and will now be looking to rewrite his fortune at this new league.
