Bayern Munich’s Champions league campaign is set to commence with a huge clash against Manchester United in the Allianz Arena. New reports from Germany are however suggesting that Bayern Munich will be without star midfielder, Joshua Kimmich due to fitness concerns. Kimmich was substituted off during Bayern’s 2-2 draw against Bayer Leverkusen last weekend. The 28 year old, who has solidified his place in the team, both as a full back and midfielder now joins Manuel Neuer, Kingsley Coman and Raphael Guerreiro as unavailable players for the competition’s opener. This will be a huge miss as the team takes on Manchester United on Wednesday.

Julian Nagelsmann to be appointed as new head coach of Germany.
After sacking Hansi Flick, Julian Nagelsmann is now set to take over as Germany new head coach ahead of the 2024 Euro cup. The former Bayern Munich coach is reportedly still under contract at the club, despite being sacked in March. This deal is set to be finalized once Bayern Munich terminates his contract. He will now take a huge pay cut to join the national team, as he will receive €4 million from the German FA. With an agreement in place between both parties, Nagelsmann’s first match as Germany’s head coach could be the clash against USMNT in an International friendly on October 14.
