Two-times heavyweight champion, Anthony Joshua emerged winner in the fight against Finland opponent, Robert Helenius. His right hand punch was enough to secure his victory and with this win, he records his first knockout win since December 2020. This also records back to back win for Joshua who had earlier defeated Jermaine Franklin by decision in April. Speaking after the fight, Joshua revealed that he told him to come again, thanking him for saving the card after Whyte, ‘The Body Snatcher’, failed a drug test a week before their scheduled rematch.

Chelsea officially unveil Moisès Caicedo after Liverpool draw.
Brighton midfielder, Moisès Caicedo has been the subject of a bidding war between Chelsea and Liverpool. The central midfielder impressed immensely in the last year, helping Brighton achieve European football. Liverpool placed a bid of around €110 million for the player and while it looked to be going Liverpool’s way until Chelsea submitted a late bid for the player. Reports suggests that Moisès Caicedo decided to move to Chelsea after giving the London team his words. He now signs for a British record of €115 million and will be at the club until 2031 with the option for a one year extension.

Jurrien Timber to be out for months after suffering ACL injury.
Arsenal signed Jurrien Timber from Ajax, as they hoped to build on last season’s phenomenal run and contend for the premier league title again. In a 2-1 win over Nottingham Forest, Timber picked up an injury and was forced to leave the game. In Arsenal’s official statement, they have confirmed that the defender has sustained a knee injury and will be out for months.
