The Super Falcons have again commenced another journey to actualizing their goal of bringing home the World Cup. The team forced a superbly compact Canadian team to a goalless draw. They sit third on the Group B table and will face Northern Ireland and Australia to secure a place in the competition’s round of 16. Many personalities across the country, including Peter Obi and Okonjo Eweala, have tipped the Super Falcons to emerge victorious in the competition. The Falcons will be hoping to make a mark as they face the group leader, Australia on July 27.

Liverpool and Al Ettifaq finally reach agreement on Jordan Henderson’s transfer.
Former Liverpool captain, Jordan Henderson has finally decided to leave Liverpool after 13 years at the club. The midfielder who was signed from Sunderland for £16 million, captained Liverpool to their first Premier league trophy and a Champions league title. Liverpool will receive £12 million in principle from the Saudi side, with the player agreeing to a three year deal. He will join former teammate and Liverpool legend, Steven Gerrard, who is now Al Ettifaq’s coach. Perhaps, Henderson will be most remembered for his leadership qualities which pushed the team.

Reports suggests Mbappe’s move to Real Madrid might actualize soon.
French Superstar, Kylian Mbappe has developed to be one of football’s most lethal players of all time. Cementing his place as an all time great with different superb club campaigns and two World Cup finals performances, he has been on Real Madrid’s radar. However, emerging situation with his club, Paris Saint German indicates that the player is willing to play out his contract and leave on a free transfer next summer. Nigerian forward, Victor Boniface, who has just signed a 5 years contract with Bayer Leverkusen from Royale Union SG, has revealed that Neymar was the inspiration behind his change of name.
