Spain has defeated England in the FIFA Women’s World Cup final.
The 2023 FIFA women’s World Cup has finally come to an end, with Spain defeating England to clinch the World Cup trophy. The goal from Spain’s full back, Carmona in the 29th minute was the difference between the two sides in a tense game and this marks Spain’s first Women’s World Cup title. England’s Mary Earps won the Golden Glove, Spain’s Salma Paralluelo and Aitana Bonmati won the Best Young Player and Golden Ball respectively and Japan’s Hinata Miyazawa was also awarded the Golden Boot.
