San Antonio Spurs not responding to Wembanyama trade offers.

Victor Wembanyama has come off as one of the biggest prospects in the NBA in recent times. In fact, he has been dubbed as the biggest prospect since Lebron James, as his talent across the offensive and defensive courts has been evidently phenomenal. The San Antonio Spurs beat Portland to notch the First Pick for the 2023/2024 NBA Draft Pick and the franchise plans to draft Wembanyama. Despite this resolution, numerous teams are reportedly interested in offering trade options, in an attempt to get the talent and inside reports indicate that San Antonio Spurs will not respond to any of these offers.

Nike not planning to cut ties with Ja Morant.

Ja Morant has been involved in consecutive questionable situations, where he was caught on camera flashing a gun, on both occasions. While he was previously banned for 10 games, the Memphis Grizzlies star was again seen on an Instagram live, flashing a gun. These recent behaviors have raised clouds over his career and with the recent 25 game ban, there were speculations about his Nike contract being terminated. Nike, in an official statement, has however stated that they will not be cutting ties with Morant, indicating their plans to continually support him on and off the court.

Tottenham close on signing Kulusevski on a permanent deal.

Juventus’ sensation and Sweden International, Dejan Kulusevski, demanded a loan out of Juventus, in a bid to enjoy playing time. He enjoyed a long term loan at Tottenham, becoming one of their most pivotal attacking players. Despite his injuries, the forward has contributed 7 goals and 14 assists in 48 premier league games. Tottenham has however indicated their interest in permanently signing the forward. Negotiations with Juventus has been positive. The deal is set to be finalized at €30 million, due to a €5 million discount in the player’s buy out clause.

Mason Greenwood included in Manchester United’s retained list.

England and Manchester United’s young stars, Mason Greenwood was accused of rape and assault on his girlfriend in January 2022 and has since been suspended from the team. Despite the case being dropped, there has been divided opinions from fans as to whether it is morally acceptable for his return to the team. The recently released retained list of the club includes his name and this has caused an uproar on social media. With Manchester United still carrying out their private investigation, we are unsure if the young player would still play at Manchester United or elsewhere.

The star, who recently moved to Inter Miami from Paris Saint German (PSG), reflected on his experiences in the Argentina team.
