Delta State Government inspect water drainage projects.
There has been gradual shifts in the level of complacency among governmental officials, since the consistent clamor for accountability by citizens. Governments on federal and state levels are now prioritizing the provision of basic services and this is evident in the immense efforts of the Delta State Government to curb the drainage problems that continue to ravage the state. With drainage projects being enacted in various areas like Warri South and Uwvie, the state government took to social media to give an update on the ongoing projects, whilst urging citizens to desist from the act of dumping wastes in drains.
