Oyo State government to make provision for large scale energy.

About a month ago, President Buhari signed the bill, for the constitutional amendment that permitted states to generate and transmit and distribute electricity. This was announced by the presidential media spokesperson, Tolu Ogunleye. The Oyo State Government has just indicated plans to provide electricity on a large scale. This will play a pivotal role in further boosting the economic and social welfare across the state. Every other sector within the state is posed to also benefit from this development.

Dangote praises Tinubu for the creation of the Lekki Free Trade Zone.

Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote, is on the verge of what seems to many Nigerians, to be the establishment of a working refinery in the country. Despite Nigeria being an oil producing country, the lack of a functioning refinery has pulled the social and economic progression of the country backwards. The development of the Dangote refinery will be important in curbing numerous scarcity and crude oil refining dilemmas. Dangote, in an interview, however, recognized the efforts of President-Elect and former Governor of Lagos State, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, for the Lekki Free Trade Zone vision and actualization, a scheme that his refinery has become a product of.
