Angela Bassett finally wins her first Emmy award for Outstanding Narrator.
Hollywood star, Angela Bassett is now an Emmy winner. At the Creative Arts Emmys announced on Saturday, the 66-year-old Black Panther actress won her first Emmy for Outstanding Narrator for the National Geographic series Queens. This marks Bassett’s first win after nine Primetime Emmy nominations, including for American Horror Story. The accolade comes after a successful year in which she earned a Golden Globe, an Oscar nomination for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, and an honorary Oscar at the Governors Awards. Reflecting on her journey, Bassett shared in an Instagram video, “I’m just a girl who wanted to act… I just put my focus, my energy, and my love to try to make it happen.” She remains inspired by her first love of acting every day.

Desiigner’s newly released record, “Shyio” receives bad review online.
American rapper Desiigner, best known for his 2016 hit “Panda,” has released a new track titled “Shyio.” On September 4, Desiigner took to Instagram to preview the song, which he created in response to 50 Cent’s recent comments. In an interview with “Million Dollaz Worth of Game,” 50 Cent mentioned that he didn’t want to sign the Brooklyn rapper despite the massive hype around “Panda.” The Instagram video shows Desiigner rapping over a beat playing on his phone while sitting in his car. He confidently called the track “another hit.” However, “Shyio” has not been well received by fans, with many expressing disappointment and criticizing the song on social media. The new release appears to have missed the mark, failing to capture the same impact as his earlier work.
