As Nigeria continues to explore the oil industry, the NNPCL has commenced the drilling campaign in Borno state for the discovery of frontier oil and gas basin. This flag-off ceremony was performed by the Borno State Governor, Prof. Babagana Umaru Zulum, who was representing President Buhari. During this ceremony, the NNPCL indicated its commitment to ensuring more oil and gas discoveries within Nigeria’s frontier basins. NNPCL’s Group Chief Executive Officer, Mele Kyari, in fact heaped praises on the Buhari administration for visionary leadership which has led to the return of exploring hydrocarbon in the basin.
