Sheikh Jassim withdraws from process to buy Manchester United.

Manchester United owners, the Glazers family put the club up for sale over the summer and has since been in negotiation with Qatari banker, Sheikh Jassim Bin Hamad Al Thani and Sir Jim Ratcliffe. With Sheikh Jassim interested in acquiring full ownership of the club, the negotiations have become increasingly complicated and new information is confirming that the Qatari banker has decided to withdraw from the buying process, as negotiations with the Glazers continue to hit stumbling blocks. His investment package was up to $8 billion, which would clear the club’s debt and help improve the facilities of the club. The glazers are however negotiating the sale of 25% with British billionaire, Sir Jim Ratcliffe. Manchester United fans have expressed their anger regarding this, pointing to the greed of the Glazers’ family.

Ahead of the friendly game against Mozambique, Super Eagles’ forwards, Victor Osimhen and Kelechi Iheanacho have left the team’s training and will not feature in the upcoming friendly match.
