Acclaimed filmmaker, Rian Johnson has revealed the title and release date for the third film of the “Knives Out” franchise in a newly released teaser. The new film, titled “Wake Up Dead Man” is set to be released in 2025 and will be distributed via the popular streaming service, Netflix, as a part of its two-sequel deal with the company. The first film, distributed by Lionsgate grossed over $312 million in the box office and the second film, “Glass Onion” which was distributed by Netflix only accrued $13 million for its limited theatrical release. Ukrainian boxer, Oleksandr Usyk is set to make his debut in the acting world, as he has joined the cast for the upcoming movie, “The Smashing Machine” to play the character of MMA legend, Igor Vovchanchyn. This was announced by the production company, A24 on Friday. The film is a biopic of MMA fighter, Mark Kerr and his struggles with addiction, love and friendship in the year 2000. Hollywood stars, Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blunt will play the lead roles in the Benny Safdie-directed film. Usyk shocked the world, defeating Tyson Fury by split decision over the weekend and fans believe he will be a good addition to the movie.
