Nuno Espírito Santo signs as new Nottingham Forrest head coach.
Premier League side, Nottingham Forest have confirmed the signing of Nuno Espírito Santo as head coach on a two and the half year deal. Following the decision made by the board to dismiss Steve Cooper, Nuno’s arrival comes with a contract lasting two and a half years. The club’s decision to let go of Cooper, who successfully guided them back to the Premier League after a 23-year hiatus in 2022, allegedly stems from his team’s poor performance, having lost five out of their last six games. At the beginning of the season, Nuno, the former manager of Tottenham and Wolves, held the position of head coach for the Saudi Arabian team Al Ittihad. However, due to a series of disappointing results, he was let go. Currently, Nottingham Forest is positioned 17th on the Premier League table, and Nuno will aim to lead the team towards a significant enhancement in their overall performance.
