Tyson Fury survives knockout to beat Francis Ngannou on split decision.
WBC heavyweight champion, Tyson Fury continues his unbeaten streak, defeating former UFC fighter, Francis Ngannou by a split decision in the non-title fight which was held in Saudi Arabia. Ngannou was so close to delivering one of the biggest boxing upsets, knocking down Fury in the third round. Despite having zero professional boxing experience, Ngannou was able to hold off Fury for the full ten rounds. Two of the three judges scored 96-93 and 95-94 in favour of Fury, while the third judge favoured Ngannou with his 95-94 score. Reacting to this, the WBC heavyweight champion said that the upset was definitely not expected.

Matthew Perry, who played the character of Chandler Bing in the popular sitcom, “Friends” have been reported dead at the age of 54. Sources have reported that the American-Canadian actor was found dead in a Jucuzzi at his home in Los Angeles. This news has since heralded a huge number of tributes from both fellow actors and fans. One of the fans, while writing a tribute to Matthew Perry, stated that “there will never be another like him- he lit up so many hearts in so many ways. Godspeed to paradise. Portuguese midfielder, Ruben Neves left the Wolves over the summer for a club record fee of €47 million to join Saudi side, Al-Hilal. Months after the actualization of this transfer, Neves might be on the verge of a premier league comeback. The midfielder is currently being linked with a potential move to Newcastle to replace new signing, Sandro Tonali, whose 10 months ban for illegal gambling has been confirmed. Reports from Portugal indicates that the player is elated about the prospect of joining Newcastle and this should boost the chance of a January transfer.

Since appointing Unai Emery last season, Aston Villa has enjoyed an overt change of form. Continuing this impressive form, they beat newly promoted side, Luton 3-1 to claim their 12th consecutive premier league wins at Villa Park.
