He has just announced a series of 12 concerts titled “From New York, with Love,” set to take place at Radio City Music Hall throughout 2025. The actor revealed the news in an Instagram video featuring his Deadpool & Wolverine co-star, Ryan Reynolds, on October 9. Jackman playfully suggested Reynolds join him for the performances, but made it clear the spotlight would be on him. The shows will feature songs from Jackman’s extensive career, including hits from The Boy from Oz, The Greatest Showman, and The Music Man. A Tony Award winner and Broadway veteran, Jackman has also hosted the Academy Awards. Fans have expressed their eagerness for the upcoming concerts.

Aaron Pierre cast as John Stewart in HBO’s upcoming series, Lantern.
Fan-Favourite, Aaron Pierre is set to star as John Stewart in the upcoming HBO series Lanterns, part of the Green Lantern franchise. The show, produced by HBO in collaboration with Warner Bros. Television and DC Studios, follows Stewart and Lantern veteran, Hal Jordan as they investigate a murder in the American heartland. Originally intended as a Max original, Lanterns was picked up for eight episodes in June as part of a new content strategy. Kyle Chandler is in talks to play Hal Jordan, while other actors considered for Stewart included Stephan James and Damson Idris. Pierre, who recently starred in Netflix’s Rebel Ridge, has notable credits including his roles in Nat Geo’s Genius: MLK/X, Barry Jenkins’ The Underground Railroad, and the DC series Krypton. He will also voice Mufasa in Disney’s upcoming Lion King prequel.

Scarface discloses he has undergone a successful open heart surgery.
Hip hop legend, Scarface revealed that he nearly died during a recent open heart surgery, thanks to the expertise of renowned heart surgeon Dr. Andrea Quarti. In an Instagram post on October 8, the Geto Boys legend shared details of his summer surgery to repair an aortic aneurysm and a leaky valve, describing a shocking turn of events. He explained that upon opening him up, doctors discovered his aneurysm had torn the entire circumference of his aorta, which could have led to death. Fortunately, Dr. Quarti was able to handle the situation. Scarface expressed his gratitude, recounting how he asked the surgeon why he was chosen for the procedure, to which Dr. Quarti looked up and raised a finger to the sky. Scarface first informed fans of his health issues in August, receiving widespread support from the community.

American singer and actress, Mariah Carey is celebrating the 30th anniversary of her holiday classic, “All I Want For Christmas Is You,” by re-releasing the song. She has just unveiled new covers for the 30th anniversary edition, recreating its original cover shoot. On Instagram, she shared two new covers, one closely resembling the original, featuring her in a red jumpsuit, reminiscent of the festive theme. She wrote, “While it is definitely not time to listen to Christmas music yet, I wanted to share a glimpse of #MerryChristmas30,” announcing the pre-order for the new physical singles. The second cover features her in a glamorous white gown next to a snowy tree and will be for the cassette. In addition, Carey announced a holiday tour covering 20 cities from early November to mid-December to celebrate the milestone with her fans.
