With hours left to go, the Buhari-led administration has left Nigerians with a lot of unfulfilled promises. One of these numerous promises was the establishment of the national carrier, the Nigeria Air. Despite improvements in the area of infrastructure, the much touted aviation development that the President assured Nigerians of as failed to fly. This however raised a doubt amongst numerous Nigerians who were continually expectant. However, the national carrier was said to have flown on borrowed wings, raising further concerns from Nigerians as to the legitimacy.
Bola Tinubu prays for strength to govern Nigeria.
President-Elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, is set to be sworn in as President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria on May 29th. The election will go down as one of the most controversial in Nigeria’s electoral history. However, with the election tribunal still ongoing, it seems that the swearing in inauguration ceremony will go on despite complains by the oppositions. Tinubu is however hoping for strength and good health to face the challenges that have ravaged the country over the years.
Saraki commissions 2nd runway at Victor Attah International Airport.
Former Senate President, Sen. Bukola Saraki is a household personality in Nigeria’s politics. Having accomplished so much over the years, huge respect is still being accorded to the politician, despite his recent loss at the senatorial election. Upon the launch of Ibom Air at the Victor Attah International Airport, Saraki had Akwa Ibom’s governor, Udom Emmanuel, as a visionary. The politician was there again to commission the 2nd runway and international terminal building at the airport. Saraki took to social media to commend the governor’s efforts, indicating that with his giant strides, he had etched his name in the State’s history books.

Mrs. Zainab Shamsuna Ahmed, the Minister of Finance, Budget and National Planning continues to make efforts in ensuring an overt progress in the country’s economic status quo. With a few days left in office, she has officially inaugurated board of directors for the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation and tasked the members to commence designing policies that would be of great use to the management, in a bid to help the management ensure an instant delivery of its mandate.
Vin Diesel reveals proposal of Toretto spin off.
With Fast X doing immensely well in the box office since its release, there has been speculations of the franchise carrying on with the project. Despite some fans being concerned about the lackadaisical level of writing that has been pumped into the recent releases by the franchise, their new Fast X was said to have accumulated over $300 million on its release week. Popular Hollywood star, Vin Diesel has since taken to social media to reveal a proposed spin off which would only detail the story of the Toretto family. This has also received mixed reactions online.
