Hollywood actor, Tom Holland has launched his production company, Billy17, alongside Harry Holland and Will South, and signed a deal with Sony Pictures to develop multiple projects. The partnership begins with Burnt, an original film starring Holland, with an Academy Award-winning writer, Rodney Rothman (Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse), penning the screenplay. Billy17 will also co-produce an adaptation of Graeme Simsion’s bestselling novel The Rosie Project and Teddy Wayne’s The Winner, another Holland-starring project, alongside Amy Pascal. Holland expressed excitement, saying, “Sony felt like the perfect partner to launch our company, and we’re thrilled to bring entertaining, rewatchable films to the big screen.” Sony Pictures CEO Tom Rothman praised the trio’s creative zeal, calling the deal a natural evolution of their partnership, which has already produced successes like Uncharted ($407M globally) and the $4B Spider-Man trilogy.

Popular actor, Will Smith has firmly denied rumors of his alleged involvement in Sean “Diddy” Combs’ controversial parties, which have recently been the subject of lawsuits alleging drugging and sexual assaults. During a performance in San Diego, Smith addressed the speculation, calling it baseless. “I’ve seen the memes. Some of them are funny, but let me be clear: I don’t have anything to do with Puffy or those parties,” Smith said, as reported by TMZ. He emphasized that he’s never attended such events, adding, “I’ve got enough going on in my life; don’t put me in other people’s mess. On-demand actor, Glen Powell is set to star in Homewreckers, a new film adaptation of Neil Paik’s novella, which he will also produce. While plot details remain under wraps, the project is described as an erotic thriller with a sci-fi twist. Paik, known for The Bombshell Bandit (with Priyanka Chopra attached) and his upcoming directorial debut Windowshopper, will pen the script.
