Kcee to feature Irish band, One Direction on hit song, “Ojapiano”.
“Ojapiano” has been one of the biggest songs in Nigeria. The mesmerizing tune is known for its addition of the Igbo folk style and the Amapiano sound. Now, it looks like Kcee will be taking the hit song to an international audience, as he is set to feature Irish boy band, One Direction for a remix of the hit song. In a recent video, the artists were seen working together on the song with Kcee explaining the vision of the song to the band. Fans are anticipating this collaboration to see how the One Direction fits into it.

JoeBoy leaves EMPAWA and launches new record label, Young Legend Label.
After years of great success and consecutive hit songs, one of Afrobeats’ biggest new school artistes, JoeBoy has just left EMPAWA and will with record label, Warner Music, joining global artists like Burna Boy, CKay, Cardi B and Ed Sheeran. The contract with Warner will see him launch his own entertainment company, Young Legend label. Since his emergence, Joeboy has amassed over 2 billion streams across digital platforms and with this new start, he will hoping to further expand his audience globally.

The full trailer for much anticipated Amy Winehouse biopic, “Back to Black” has just been released, after a short teaser was released mid January. The film which is set to feature Marisa Abela as Amy Winehouse, Jack O’Connell and Blake Fielder-Civil, is written by Matt Greenhalgh and directed by Sam Taylor-Johnson. The biopic, which making commenced in 2018 and finished in 2023 will detail the life and experiences of the English singer and songwriter who died in 2011.
