Nigerian pop star, Wizkid has commenced the new year dropping new videos for his songs on the new “SoundMan Vol. 2” EP. Days after releasing much anticipated video for “IDK” featuring Zlatan Ibile which has accrued over one million views on YouTube after two days, Wizkid has now released a new video for “Diamonds”, also off the EP. This song quickly became a fan favorite, with many feeling Wiz’s emotional outpouring. Fans have shown immense surprise at Wizkid’s newly found consistency at dropping music videos.

Davido sells out acclaimed O2 Arena for the third consecutive attempts.

One of Afrobeats’ biggest stars, Davido continues to break global records and sell out arenas across the world. After multiple sold out shows in Canada, America and the Netherlands, Davido has just sold out the O2 Arena again ahead of his Timeless Tour. The concert is set to take place on January 28th. This will be Davido’s third O2 Arena appearance and he becomes the second Nigerian artiste to have sold out the arena multiple times, only behind Wizkid (5).

First trailer for Guy Ritchie’s “The Gentlemen” series have been released.

Ahead of the anticipated release of new Netflix series, “The Gentlemen”, the streaming platform has just released the first trailer for the action comedy TV series. This series is a based off popular 2019 movie, “The Gentlemen” which was written by Guy Ritchie and starred acclaimed actors like Matthew McConaughey and Charlie Hunnam. This series well projects the story of a British aristocrat who inherited his father’s wealth only to discover the estate sits on a Marijuana empire. The series will be released later in March 2024.

NBA superstar, Giannis Antetokounmpo has just released his new feature film, in collaboration with WhatsApp and Prime Video titled “Ugo” to tell his life story and his homecoming to Nigeria. One of the funniest moments of the film includes a clip of a Nigerian trader selling a fake Giannis’ Milwaukee Bucks jersey to him without any knowledge of the superstar. Mr. Eazi reveals his biggest culture shock after moving to Ghana.

Ghanaian-Nigerian music star and business mogul, Mr. Eazi has been one of the biggest crossover artistes of the last decade with huge reputation in Nigeria and Ghana. In a recent interview with Unorthodox Reviews, Mr. Eazi has revealed that the biggest cultural shock he experienced when he moved to Ghana was with the food. According to him, he was served one of Ghana’s special sauce, Shitto which almost caused him to throw up. He however admitted that Shitto was now one of his favorite sauces.
