Apple Music has listed out its top 100 albums of all times on the platform including classic albums across all genres. The streaming platform, on Wednesday, announced Lauryn Hill’s 1998 classic, “The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill” as the greatest album of all times, ranking it over Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” and other classics like Beyoncé’s “Lemonade”, Nirvana’s “Nevermind” and Kendrick Lamar’s “good kid, m.A.A.d city”. In honour of this feat, Apple Music surprised Lauryn Hill with an exclusive dinner. Hill, during the dinner, said, “This is my award but it’s a rich, deep narrative, and involves so many people, and so much sacrifice, and so much time, and so much collective love.” While some fans have praised the cultural impact of the album, others believe Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” should have been ranked higher.
