House of Dragon is set to be back on our screens for its second season. The released trailer shows more hostility between Rhaenyra Targaryen and Alicent Hightower. The released trailer further shows the main characters riding to battle on their dragons and burning soldiers. Alongside the returning casts, new faces including Tom Taylor, Jamie Kenna and Tom Bennett will be joining the “Game of Thrones” prequel. Casey Bloys, HBO Chairman has confirmed that the much awaited season two will be available in the early summer of 2024.

Completed list of the Uefa Euros 2024 group stage final draw.
Ahead of the 2024 European tournament which is set to hold in Germany, the group stage draw has been completed. Germany will open the tournament against Scotland, with Switzerland and Hungary also facing off in Group A. Spain will face off with 2018 World Cup finalist, Croatia and present cup holder, Italy in Group B. England in Group C and Portugal in Group F will be pleased with their draws as they face Serbia, Slovenia, Denmark, Turkey, Czech Republic and a playoff winner in the Group C and F respectively.

Yemi Alade features in AFCON 2024 official theme song and video.
The official theme song for the African Cup of Nations tournament has now been launched by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) and Local Organizing Committees (LOC). The song which is titled “Akwaba”, a term used to welcome visitors in Côte d’Ivoire. Ivorian music group, Magic System, Nigerian artiste, Yemi Alade and Egyptian pop artiste, Mohamed Ramadan worked on this masterpiece together. The tournament will hold from January 13 to February 11 2024.

Burna Boy becomes second most streamed artiste in Sub-Saharan Africa for 2023.
With Spotify releasing its Wrapped 2023 stream traction review on the platform, Burna Boy has emerged the second most streamed artiste across Sub-Saharan Africa after Drake for the second year in a row. His last two albums, “Love, Damini” and “I Told Them” received heavy streaming traction across Africa, making him the most streamed African artiste. Other Nigerian artistes including Davido, Rema, Asake and Omah Lay also make this top ten list.
