Updates on the first ever NBA in-season tournament group standing.

Before the start of the new season, the NBA introduced a new In-Season tournament which would include the group stages, knockout, semi finals and finals, boosting the chances of more teams to win a trophy. The tournament which commenced on Friday with a lot of interesting games. Damian Lillard called game in “Dame Time” as Milwaukee Bucks defeated the New York Knicks110-105. Indiana Pacers, Miami Heat and Brooklyn Nets also won their first games in the Eastern conference. In the Western conference, Denver Nuggets gave the Dallas Mavericks it’s first defeat of the season as Jokic matched up with Luka Doncic in a 125-114 shootout. The Golden State Warriors and Portland also won their opening games in the tournament.

Sheffield United defeat Wolves to claim first league win of the season.

Newly promoted side, Sheffield United started the season on the worst possible note, picking up just one point in their previous ten league games and breaking the premier league record for the worst start after ten games in history. They have now won their first league game of the season, defeating Wolves with a dramatic last minute penalty. Cameron Archer’s superb goal in the 72nd gave them the lead before Bellegarde equalized for Wolves in the 89th minute. With the game pointing to a second draw of the season for Sheffield United, George Baldock drew a foul in Wolves’ penalty area which Oliver Norwood slotted home perfectly in the 100th minute of the game.

Xavi claims Barcelona players are not over the El Classico loss.

Barcelona suffered their first defeat of the season in last week’s El Classico. The game took a dramatic turn as Bellingham spearheaded Real Madrid’s comeback after Gündogan’s sixth minute goal.
