Kanye West shocks fans, announces his forthcoming solo album, Bully.
Fresh from releasing two “Vultures” albums with Ty Dolla $ign earlier this year, Kanye West has announced his new solo album titled Bully. During a performance at Wuyuan River Stadium in Haikou, China, West debuted a new track “Beauty and the Beast” from the upcoming project. He told the crowd, “I got a new album coming out… The album’s called Bully, and this song is called ‘Beauty and the Beast.’” The track features West singing over a soft instrumental, with introspective lyrics like, “I still think about it every night and day to try to stay away, to keep my audience.” Longtime collaborator Mike Dean hinted the song may be a leftover from Kanye’s 2021 Donda album, commenting “Donda leftover” on Instagram. Kanye later posted a concert image captioned “BULLY,” further fueling anticipation.

Megalopolis earns $1.8 million in the domestic box office on its opening day.
Francis Ford Coppola’s long-awaited passion project, Megalopolis, is struggling to make an impact at the box office, falling far short of its $120 million production budget. Self-funded by Coppola, who sold part of his winery to finance the film, Megalopolis has earned just $1.8 million on its opening day. Weekend projections suggest it will gross between $4.1 million and $4.6 million domestically, significantly less than 5% of its massive budget. The science fiction epic, originally developed in 1983, took over 40 years to come to fruition and features an ensemble cast including Adam Driver, Giancarlo Esposito, and Aubrey Plaza. Despite its high-profile cast and lengthy development, Megalopolis is expected to debut around fifth or sixth place at the domestic box office.
Francis Ford Coppola’s ‘MEGALOPOLIS’ earns $1.8M in the film’s domestic opening day.
