Headies’ 17th edition to be held in April, with another edition in December.

The 17th Headies Awards will take place on April 5, 2025, in Lagos, Nigeria, marking the prestigious event’s return to the country after two years abroad. Headies Executive Producer Ayo Animashaun announced the date on January 28, revealing that activities for the awards will begin in March. In a historic move, the Headies will hold two editions in 2025, with the 18th set for December. Animashaun explained that the 17th edition was originally planned for 2024 but was postponed.
