Hellboy: The Crooked Man marks the third attempt to launch a film franchise based on the gothic classic. At San Diego Comic-Con, the film’s cast and crew promoted the upcoming movie. Creator Mike Mignola has always emphasized that Hellboy films should highlight the horror elements of the character. Directed by Brian Taylor, the film is set in the 1950s and features Hellboy on one of his earliest missions. Jack Kesy stars as Hellboy, alongside Jefferson White, Adeline Rudolph, Joseph Marcell, and others.
