American singer and songwriter, Jason Derulo has just released his highly anticipated album, “Nu King” and it is nothing short of amazing! This is his first album since 2015, includes a star-studded list of features including David Guetta, Maroon 5, Nicki Minaj, Ty Dolla $ign, French Montana, NBA YoungBoy, Meghan Trainor, Dido and Gucci Mane. The album has reached the top ten of the US Apple Music chart since its recent release.

Doja Cat reveals name for the deluxe version of her album, “Scarlet”.
Hip Hop sensation, Doja Cat has been ruling the global charts since her new album, “Scarlet” was released. With hits like “Agora Hills”, the album broke Spotify’s record for the biggest debut for a female artist’s hip hop album on the platform’s history. Doja has now just revealed that she had completed the deluxe edition of the album, which will be named “Scarlet 2: Claude Frollo”. The deluxe will however include seven or eight songs and is expected to be released in May.

Beyoncé is set to explore the country genre with her new album, “Act II”. With two newly released songs, “Texas Hold ‘Em” and “16 Carriages” which was first teased at the Super Bowl, Beyoncé’ continues to records. Social media has gone into a frenzy since the release, with many re-enacting TikTok challenges for the tracks. Both tracks have now occupied the entire top 5 of the United States’ iTunes chart, making Beyoncé’ the first black woman to occupy the top five spots on the US iTunes chart.

Nigerian star, D’banj is set to make big comeback with new song, “Taya”.
Afrobeats legend, D’banj has been quiet in the music scene since his 2018 hit collaboration, “Issa Banger” with Mr. Real and Slimcase. Although he has released some new singles over the years, they have failed to give him the needed buzz that he was looking for. He has however teased a new song, “Taya” which has received major buzz on social media. Fans believe that this record has the potential to give him a major comeback into the Afrobeats scene.

American rapper, Lil Yachty has surprised rap fans with an upcoming collaborative album with British artist, James Blake. The upcoming project, which is titled “Bad Compromises” is proposed to be released later this year, will bring together, two artists with overtly different styles. In a new video buzzing on social media, Yachty was seen discussing his relationship with James Blake and describing the new album as something entirely different for the both of them.
