Big Sean reveals that Kendrick apologized to him after “Element” diss.
There has been considerable speculation about a potential feud between Kendrick Lamar and Big Sean, especially since a leaked version of “Element” seemed to contain a diss directed at Sean. However, in a recent one-on-one discussion with Charlamagne tha God on Friday, ahead of the release of Sean’s new album, “Better Me Than You”, the 36-year-old Detroit rapper clarified that there is no bad blood between him and Lamar. Sean addressed questions regarding an April 2019 leak of an early version of Lamar’s “DAMN” track, “Element.” Although the diss lines were cut from the final version of the song, Lamar’s leaked verse critiqued Sean’s credibility and fame. During the interview, Sean shared a 2019 text exchange with Lamar, where the Compton rapper “in a sense” apologized for his comments, indicating that their relationship is not strained.
