RnB star, Usher has cancelled the first show of his “Past Present Future” tour just hours before he was set to perform in Atlanta. The 45-year-old singer was scheduled to kick off the first of three nights at the State Farm Arena on Wednesday. However, he announced on social media that he was postponing the concert, citing the need to rest and heal. “For my 30-plus year career, I’ve given 100% to every performance. I want to continue that for this tour, which is why I must postpone tonight’s show,” Usher wrote. The postponement comes after Usher’s Super Bowl Halftime announcement and ahead of his “Coming Home” album tour. Originally, the North American leg was to begin in Washington, D.C., but extra Atlanta shows were added. It is unclear whether Usher will proceed with the scheduled shows on August 16 and 17.
