Lil Wayne explains why he doesn’t perform his hit collaboration with Kendrick Lamar.
There have been different rumours as to why Lil Wayne does not perform his hit song “Mona Lisa” which features Kendrick Lamar, the latest being K.Dot’s feud with Wayne’s protégé, Drake. The 41 year-old rapper has just revealed that the only reason he doesn’t perform the song is due to the complexity of memorizing the record. He said, “This is the second time I’ve seen this within my last three shows. Somebody had a sign that said, ‘Mona Lisa’… if y’all real Lil Wayne fans, you know I don’t know the lyrics to my shit.” Wayne has on different occasions admitted to having a poor memory when it comes to remembering his lyrics.

Bad Boys: Ride or Die opens with $5.9m in domestic previews.
Will Smith and Martin Lawrence’s new film, ‘Bad Boys: Ride or Die’ has started positively in the domestic box office. The film opened with a good $5.9 million on Thursday’s domestic preview, the highest for an R-rated movie since Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer. With a budget of $100 million, Bad Boys: Ride or Die is expected to hit $50 million in its opening week, higher than Sony’s $30 million expectation. 2024 has been a lackluster year in the box office with highly anticipated projects like “The Fall Guy” and “Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga” not reaching their expected goal. Theatre owners are hopeful that this movie turns the tide.
