Majors proposed in Paris last year after seeking permission from Good’s father. The couple exchanged engraved rings from Hawaii, surrounded by close family, including both their mothers. They announced their engagement at the Ebony Power 100 event in November, where they had first met in 2022. Majors and Good began dating in 2023 and remained together through his highly publicized legal battle. Good emphasized her unwavering support, stating that real love is not conditional. Neo-soul icon Erykah Badu is collaborating with legendary producer The Alchemist on her highly anticipated sixth studio album. In an interview with Billboard, which named her this year’s Women in Music Icon, Badu revealed that she has been dedicating most of her time to completing the project—her first full-length album in 15 years. Despite not being as immersed in the scene as before, Badu remains attuned to hip-hop’s evolving landscape, expressing admiration for emerging artists. “Hip-hop is the people. It’s the tribe,” she said, likening today’s rising stars to her own children’s generation. Though her last album dropped in 2010, Badu released the But You Caint Use My Phone mixtape in 2015, featuring André 3000. Most recently, she won her fifth Grammy in February for “3:AM” with Rapsody. A new live-action Power Rangers reboot reportedly in the works at Disney.
Disney+ is reportedly developing a live-action Power Rangers reboot, with Percy Jackson and the Olympians showrunners Jonathan E. Steinberg and Dan Shotz in talks to write, film, and executive produce. Hasbro will produce the series, aiming to reinvent the franchise for a new generation while honoring the original Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers from the 1990s. The classic series followed five teenagers who transform into superheroes with powerful mech fighters. The franchise has seen various adaptations, including a 1995 film and a 2017 Lionsgate reboot, which failed to launch a cinematic universe after earning $142 million on a $100 million budget. Hasbro, which acquired Power Rangers in 2018, previously attempted a reboot at Netflix with Jonathan Entwistle, but that project fell through. This news follows the 2023 Power Rangers 30th-anniversary special. Hasbro is also developing projects based on Clue, Dungeons & Dragons, and Magic: The Gathering.

Jack Hallow and Doja Cat are set to release a new collaboration this Friday.
American rappers, Jack Harlow and Doja Cat are set to drop their new collaboration, Just Us, this Friday. Harlow announced the single on social media, sharing what appears to be the cover art—an image of the two artists conversing in a restaurant kitchen. The photo seems to be from a circulating video of the pair in a similar setting. For Harlow, this upcoming release follows “Set You Free”, his first single of 2025. After releasing Jackman in April 2023, he scored a Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 with “Lovin’ on Me” but kept a low profile in 2024, making a comeback with “Hello Miss Johnson” in November and Tranquility in December. David Robert Mitchell’s FLOWERVALE STREET delayed to August 14, 2026.
Warner Bros. has adjusted its film release schedule, including a new date for David Robert Mitchell’s highly anticipated sci-fi film, Flowervale Street. Originally set for March 13, 2026, the film will now hit theaters, including IMAX, on August 14, 2026. The delay reportedly allows the studio to equip U.S. theaters with VistaVision projection systems to align with the director’s vision. Directed and written by Mitchell, known for the acclaimed horror film It Follows, Flowervale Street stars Anne Hathaway, Ewan McGregor, Maisy Stella, Christian Convery, P.J.
