The packed event was described as immensely successful, as the audience had fun and were able to learn insightful tips for creativity in today’s economy.

Ckay receives BMI for his hit single, Love Nwantiti

Since hitting the global market in 2021 with his hit single, Love Nwantiti, Ckay has taken immense strides. In his own right, the music producer turned artist has done so well for himself, dominating the global music space with other hit songs like Emiliana. His Love Nwantiti which first blew up on TikTok and garnered huge global appeal during the Covid-19 pandemic has gone on to win numerous awards locally and in the international scene. In fact, Billboard regarded the hit as one of the defining songs of the Afrobeats genre. Recently, the song received a Broadcast Music Inc. certificate, summing up the song’s global success.

Canada-based Eastglen High School is contributing to the movement of propagating the African culture globally. In truth, Canada has witnessed many Africans migrate into the country over the years and thus, the idea of representation has become poignant. Hence, the school is said to have put together, an annual cultural celebration, where students can proudly display their diverse cultural heritages across various forms of art and creativity.
