Kendrick Lamar surprises fans with a new 12-track album, GNX.

Compton rapper, Kendrick Lamar has surprised fans with the release of his sixth studio album, GNX, now streaming on all platforms. The 12-track project, his first full-length album since 2022’s Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers, arrives just months before his highly anticipated headlining performance at the 2025 Apple Music Super Bowl Halftime Show in New Orleans. The release came without warning, with Lamar sharing a teaser for the album’s title track just minutes before its debut. SZA appears on two tracks. Jack Antonoff also contributed to the production of the album. This year has been a landmark one for the 37-year-old rapper, highlighted by a hit collaboration with Future and Metro Boomin on “Like That,” which spent three weeks atop the Billboard Hot 100, and the buzz surrounding his feud with Drake, which birthed the top-charting single, “Not Like Us.” With 7 Grammy Award nominations this year and this new album, Kendrick continues to reaffirm his place as one of the greatest hip hop artists of all time.
