Kizz Daniel releases remix for hit song, “Twe Twe” with Davido.

Years after the release of “One Ticket” remix which ruled the Nigerian music charts for months, Kizz Daniel is teaming up with Davido for the remix of another hit song, “Twe Twe”. The song which has spent multiple weeks in the top 10 of Nigeria’s Apple Music Chart, is set to dominate the Nigerian music space again, with additional releases from Davido. The released snippet for the remix has been well received by fans and this potential hit will score another number 1 chart debut for the duo.

Wizkid becomes third Nigerian artist to surpass 100m Spotify streams in 2024.

Afrobeats star, Wizkid, even after a decade in the game, continues to rule in his own right as one of the most streamed artists in Africa yearly. With his new project, “SoundMan Vol. 2” still making major waves, Wizkid has now joined Burna Boy and Rema as the only Nigerian artists to have surpassed 100 million streams on Spotify this year. Whilst Burna Boy and Rema achieved this within the first 23 and 24 days respectively, Wizkid is the third fastest to achieve this in just 25 days.

J Hus set to make big return with new release “3 CB” on Thursday.

Acclaimed UK artist, J Hus made a huge comeback after a three year hiatus, with the release of 2023 album, “Beautiful and Brutal Yard” which features big records like “Who Told You” with Drake. He is set to release a new single, “3 CB” on Thursday and fans are convinced that this might be the rollout scheme for another album release. Whatever it is, J Hus will again thrill fans with this new music.

Christopher Nolan and Warner Bros to re-release “Tenet” in theaters.

2020 Sci-Fi thriller, “Tenet” which was written and directed by the acclaimed Christopher Nolan is set to be re-released in the theaters for one week from February 23, after Nolan and Warner Bros’ team-up. This will include a showcase on the Imax screen. The screening which is set to hold across the United States and other selected international markets, will also include an exclusive clip for “Dune: Part Two” which will be released a week later.

Bloody Civilian and Wizkid to feature on Bob Marley’s film soundtrack.

With the global domination of Afrobeats, stars from Africa are being featured on movie soundtracks, the latest being Wizkid and Bloody Civilians who are set to be on the EP for Bob Marley-inspired film, “Bob Marley: One Love”. This movie, which is produced by Paramount Pictures, will see Bloody Civilian and Wizkid make their renditions of Marley’s popular songs, “Natural Mystic” and “One Love”. Other artists featured on the EP include Jessie Reyez, Daniel Caesar, Skip Marley and Leon Bridges.
