Fireboy discloses that his fourth studio album is on the way.
Nigerian superstar and YBNL signee, Fireboy has just dropped new updates on the release of his fourth studio album. The album, which is set to include some amazingly unexpected collaborations will focus on subjects across his personal health, love, relationship with God and peace of mind. Fireboy revealed that the album be a perfect balance of the three songs he has revealed so far— “Yawa”, “Obaa Sima” and “Outside”.

Bella Shmurda to release two new projects in honor of MohBad.
Rising star, MohBad died tragically in September 2023, causing a massive uprising against industry bullies like Naira Marley and Sam Larry. Since this occurrence, Bella Shmurda has been one of the biggest voices demanding justice for Mohbad’s death. After releasing tribute to MohBad, “My Brother”, he has now disclosed that he would be releasing two new projects (an EP and album) in memory of his friend. One of the projects, “Road to September 12th” will be released on September 12.

Pharrell Williams and Miley Cyrus to release new music on Friday.
After the success of 2023 record, “Flowers”, Miley Cyrus is set team up with legendary artist and producer,, Pharrell Williams for a new single, “Doctor (Work it out)” which will be released on Friday, March 1. Miley teased this single, releasing a snippet on her socials with her dancing. Pharrell also teased the song during the Louis Vuitton Men’s Fall-Winter 2024 collection presentation which held at Paris in January. “Doctor” will be Miley Cyrus’ first solo single since 2023-released “Used to be young”.

Billie Eilish to perform “What Was I Made For?” at this year’s Oscars.
Academy Award winner, Billie Eilish has been to perform popular song, “What Was I Made For?”, off Barbie soundtrack at this years Oscar awards. The song, alongside “I’m Just Ken” both received nominations for the Beat Original Song. Other performers at the highly coveted award show will include Billie’s brother, Finneas, Ryan Gosling, Scott George and the Osage Singers, Jon Batiste and Becky G.

Raye becomes first woman to the Songwriter of year award at the BRITs.
English singer and songwriter, Raye broke the record for receiving the most nominations at the Brits award with seven nominations including two entries for song of the year, album of the year, new artist and artist of the year. On top of this, she has just become the first ever woman to win the coveted songwriter award, becoming her first ever Brits award. This award was introduced in 2022 with previous winners including Ed Sheeran and Kid Harpoon for his contribution to Harry Styles’ “Harry’s House”. Raye, who parted ways with her record label in 2021 to remain an independent artist, appreciated everyone who voted her for the category in her speech.
