Simone Inzaghi agrees to a new deal with Inter Milan until 2026.

Inter Milan’s head coach, Simone Inzaghi is on the verge of signing a new contract that will keep him at the club until 2026. Per inside sources, the negotiations have been ongoing for a while, especially due to CEO Beppe Marotta’s change from the initial 2-year contract to a 1-year extension. The Italian manager has now agreed to extend his contract until 2026, compromising on his goal for a longer period and will now become the most paid coach in the Serie A with €6.5 million plus bonuses per season. Simone Inzaghi led Inter to its 20th Scudetto, while also winning 2 Coppa Italia’s and three consecutive Supercoppa Italiana titles with the Serie A giant.

José Mourinho and Fenerbahçe targeting former Newcastle winger.

Allan Saint-Maximin shocked the football world last summer when he moved to the Saudi side, Al-Ahli from Champions League bound Newcastle. One year later, the 27 year-old winger might be on his way back to Europe. Newly appointed Fenerbahçe coach, José Mourinho has identified Saint-Maximin as a priority target and negotiations between Fenerbahçe and Al-Ahli are well underway. According to reports, the French footballer has approved the move and is only waiting for both clubs to reach an agreement.


Everton rejects Manchester United’s bid for Jarred Branthwaite.

After a whole season of defensive struggles, Manchester United is prepared to fix this problem and has identified Everton’s Jarred Branthwaite as a top priority alongside Bayern Munich’s Matthijs de Ligt. However, after a first refusal, Everton has again rejected Manchester United’s second bid which contains £45m plus £5m in add ons, as they want at least £70 million for the 22 year-old English player. Man United will be forced to make a third offer for the highly wanted defender.

Juventus set their sights on highly rated defender, Jean Clair Todibo.

Serie A giant, Juventus is the latest club to register interest in Jean Clair Todibo. The French defender was linked with a move to Manchester United but the transfer was blocked due to UEFA’s ownership rules which blocks two teams in the same UEFA competition from transacting. West Ham’s €35 million offer was also immediately rejected, as it falls significantly below Nice’s asking price. Juventus is now confident of bringing the defender to the Allianz Stadium, making him their third summer signing after Douglas Luiz and Khéphren Thuram-Ulien.


The Milwaukee Bucks reappoint Darvin Ham as one of their assistant coaches.

Months after parting ways with the Los Angeles Lakers, Darvin Ham has re-joined the Milwaukee Bucks as one of Doc Rivers’ assistant managers. Ham, who was a part of the managerial staff in the Bucks’ 2021 Championship team, spent 2 years with the Lakers, reaching the Western Conference finals and winning the inaugural In-season tournament championship. He went 90-74 (54.99%) in the regular season and 9-12 in the playoffs. Ham was a poignant voice during his first stint with the Bucks and will be looking to make more impact.
