Southgate releases final 26-man squad to represent England in the 2024 Euros.
Ahead of the 2024 Euros in Germany, Gareth Southgate has released his final squad to represent England in the tournament, making the 33-men preliminary squad down to 26. After reports of James Maddison, Jarell Quansah and Curtis Jones’ omission, another four players have now been confirmed as out. Manchester United’s defender, Harry Maguire suffered a calf injury in April and despite hopes for a speedy recovery, his complete fitness remains doubtful. Man City’s Jack Grealish, Everton’s breakthrough defender, Jarrad Branthwaite and goalkeeper, James Trafford have all also been omitted from the official squad for the 2024 Euros.
