Ruud van Nistelrooy is in talks to return to Manchester United.
Former Manchester United’s striker, Ruud van Nistelrooy could potentially be making a return to Old Trafford, this time as a part of Erik ten Hag’s coaching staff. According to emerging reports, the Dutchman is to take over as the replacement for ten Hag’s former assistant, Benni McCarthy whose 2-year contract is set to expire at the end of the month. Italy snatches last-minute goal to reach Euro 2024 Knockout stage.
The current Euro holder, Italy, has booked its ticket to the Euro 2024 Knockout stage after Mattia Zaccagni’s last minute equalizer against Croatia on Monday night. Italy needed a draw to secure Group B’s second-place. Luka Modrić’s opened the scoring for the 2018 World Cup finalists in the second half, increasing Croatia’s hope of qualifying but the Azzurri continued to mount great pressure and ended up finding a breakthrough in the 98th minute, all thanks to a beautiful curler from Lazio’s Zaccagni. Croatia will have to wait on other results for a chance to qualify as one of the best 3rd-place finishers.

John Wall says he is willing to accept any role for a return to the NBA.
5-time NBA All Star, John Wall has announced that he is willing to make a return to the NBA, even if he has to take a “Udonis Haslem” role. The former Washington Wizards’ player remained unsigned for the entire 2023/2024 season after he was waived by the Houston Rockets. Despite being one of the best point guards in his prime, Wall’s career has been overshadowed by his consistent knee injuries. During an interview on the “Podcast P with Paul George”, Wall said, “I know how much the game means to me. How much I wanna get back to the game. I’ve been an All Star, I’ve been a franchise player before. It’s been a tough journey trying to get back there. The most important thing for me is just trying to stay healthy.” It remains unknown which team he would fit into.
John Wall says he’s willing to accept any role to be back in the NBA:
“If it’s playing, not playing, being in the Udonis Halsem role. Anything like that. I just wanna be in an NBA jersey again because I know how much the game means to me, how much I still have left.”
