Finidi George to coach the Super Eagles’ friendlies against Ghana & Mali.

The Nigerian Super Eagles have been without a head coach since parting ways with Jose Peseiro post the African Cup of Nations final heartbreak. While still scouting for a new permanent option, the Nigerian Football Federation has announced that Finidi George will be the interim manager for the upcoming friendlies against Ghana and Mali. The former Super Eagles’ right winger was Peseiro’s assistant coach and he will be looking to make his mark in these two games so as to be in contention for the permanent role.
