Rodri offers injury update; sets his sight on playing again this season.
Manchester City’s midfield maestro and the 2024 Ballon d’Or winner, Rodri is edging closer to his much-anticipated return after suffering an ACL injury in September 2024. The Spanish international has been sidelined since damaging his ligaments during a heated clash against Arsenal. Speaking to *Diario AS*, Rodri expressed optimism about his recovery, emphasizing his strong mindset: “I know myself. I recover well with a positive mentality. Both physically and mentally, everything is going very well.” Rodri’s absence has left a glaring void in City’s midfield, contributing to one of their toughest stretches in recent years. The reigning Premier League champions have dropped to sixth, securing just two wins in their last 11 games and trailing leaders Liverpool by 12 points. With Rodri nearing a comeback, fans hope his return can spark a resurgence for Guardiola’s side, reigniting their season and title aspirations.

Ethan Nwaneri ruled out for a few weeks after suffering a muscular injury.
Arsenal have been dealt another injury setback, with 17-year-old Ethan Nwaneri sidelined for “a few weeks” due to a muscular injury sustained in the 1-1 draw against Brighton. Manager Mikel Arteta confirmed the news, adding to the Gunners’ growing injury list, which already includes Bukayo Saka, Ben White, Takehiro Tomiyasu, and Raheem Sterling. Nwaneri, who opened the scoring in the Brighton match before being forced off at halftime, has been in fine form. The youngster has made 18 appearances across all competitions this season, scoring five goals, including strikes in back-to-back Premier League starts against Brentford and Brighton. Nwaneri, who made history in September 2022 as the youngest Premier League debutant at 15, signed his first professional contract in March 2024. His absence leaves Arsenal further stretched as they navigate a challenging period.

Skip Bayless and Fox have been sued for alleged sexual harassment.
A Lawsuit filed in California Superior Court has accused former Fox Sports host Skip Bayless of making repeated unwanted sexual advances toward hairstylist Noushin Faraji, including offering $1.5 million for sex. The 42-page suit alleges Faraji endured over a decade of abuse in a toxic workplace at Fox Sports, marked by misogyny, racism, and ableism, where misconduct was ignored or rewarded. Faraji claims Fox retaliated against employees who reported abuse, while perpetrators were promoted. The lawsuit also names Fox Sports executive Charlie Dixon and host Joy Taylor, accusing Dixon of making an unwanted pass at Faraji during a 2017 party and alleging Taylor dismissed the complaint, warning of potential job loss. Bayless worked at Fox from 2016 until 2024, when Undisputed was canceled. Faraji, employed at Fox studios from 2012, alleges she was fired for fabricated reasons in 2024.
