Arguably the greatest basketball player of all time, Lebron James is not only dominating the NBA but also breaking records in global basketball. After surpassing Kareem Abdul-Jabber’s record as the NBA’s all-time leading scorer, he has now beaten Oscar Schmidt’s record to become the all time leading scorer in global basketball. Scoring 23 points in the LA Lakers’ 128-111 win over Toronto Raptors, Lebron brought his total scoring tally up to 49,738 to surpass the Brazilian’s record.


Vince Carter officially becomes an NBA Hall of Fame recipient.

Nets’ legend, Vince Carter is set to receive the biggest recognition in basketball, as he will be inducted as one of the new NBA Naismith Hall of Famers after an incredible career. Vince became a fan favourite due to his electrifying performances and his dunking ability. The announcement for the 2024 class will be made official during the NCAA final four later this weekend. Vince, when speaking to the media earlier in the season, noted that it was always an honour to be acknowledged.


Boston Celtics officially clinch the best NBA record this season.

With the regular season coming to a close, the Boston Celtics have officially clinched the best NBA record of the season. With only six games left, they continue to be the best team in the league, having won 60 games and lost only 16. The Minnesota Timberwolves and Denver Nuggets are the next teams with the most wins this season, with 53 each are not expected to hit sixty wins with only six games left. The Boston Celtics will be hoping to replicate this incredible form in the playoffs and win the championship.


Mike Tyson to treat exhibition game with Jake Paul as a real fight.

Legendary boxer, Mike Tyson is coming out of retirement to fight part-time boxer and YouTuber, Jake Paul in an exhibition event later in July and while fans are concerned about the 50 year-old returning to the ring, Tyson continues to train very hard ahead of the fight. In a new interview, he disclosed that despite being labelled as an exhibition match, his fight with Jake Paul will be treated as a serious one. He also revealed that headgear would not be worn. The match, which is set to be streamed on Netflix, would take place at the 80,000 capacity AT&T Stadium, Texas.
