On Thursday, R&B artist and model, Cassie Ventura filed a lawsuit against music and business mogul, P. Diddy for sexually and physically abusing her while they were in a relationship. Cassie, who was signed to P. Diddy’s record label, Bad Boy Records, also accused the rapper of plying her with drugs, causing her to become dangerously addicted. Although the rapper and executive producer denied these allegations and accused her of extortion, both parties have now decided to settle this case amicably outside the courthouse.
